A Dubai based entertainment and creative agency — professional artists, original concepts and complete shows, created from start to finish.
Our founder
Refined started from Laura’s own background in the entertainment industry. She trained for twelve years at dance academy Lucia Martas in the Netherlands and worked as a professional dancer, performing in showgirl productions across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. She knows the industry from the artist’s side first.
After moving to Dubai she started working in the entertainment scene here, and saw room to do things differently. She wanted an agency that did more than supply artists — one involved in the full creative process, from the first idea to what the audience finally sees.
What began with dancers and bookings grew into complete concepts for venues and events: costumes, choreography, shows and visual concepts, developed in house.
Today Laura is the creative engine behind Refined — show creation, costume design, casting, and putting the whole show together.

How we work
We don’t only send artists to a venue. We think about the full picture, and build the concept, choreography, costumes and overall look around what the event needs.
A large part of Refined is its visual identity. We design and produce many of our costumes ourselves in Dubai, so a piece can be made for one specific concept instead of pulled from standard entertainment stock.
Refined was founded from a professional performance background. Because Laura worked as a dancer herself, she understands the creative side and the artist side. When an agency understands the artist, the artist feels more confident — and that shows on stage.
